Position Overview:
Reporting to the Raw Materials Warehousing Supervisor, the Warehouse Team Lead will own the day-to-day leadership of all warehouse activities at our Scarborough facility. You’ll focus on inventory control, stock movement, and the inbound/outbound flow of raw materials, and you’ll lead process improvements that keep production supplied and running smoothly. You’ll support, coach and develop warehouse associates, fostering a learning environment grounded in our values: innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial.
**What You'll Do**:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of ~20 hourly warehouse associates.
- Oversee daily receiving, picking/packing, putaway and shipping to meet service, cost, and safety targets.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, inbound/outbound audits and KPI tracking.
- Manage stock movements and prioritize flow to production to prevent disruption.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce year-over-year costs.
- Enforce health & safety protocols and ensure daily operational compliance.
**Let's Talk About You**:
- Experience in warehousing/distribution operations and frontline leadership.
- Working knowledge of RF SMART (or similar) and Microsoft ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forklift/Reach certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and people-leadership skills.
- Strong work ethic, sound judgment and independent initiative.
- Coaching mindset with the ability to delegate, give feedback and resolve workplace issues.
