General Labourer/heavy Equipment Operator

**About us**

Our goal is to provide professional Horizontal Directional Drilling Services to Southwestern Ontario.

**Precision Directional Drilling Inc. is seeking a General Construction Labourer to join our team, the company is based out of Zurich, ON, but work area spans across Southwestern Ontario.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate all tools and heavy equipment required to install conduits/pipes in the ground independently and safely
- Ensure that all tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored.
- Ensure all equipment is running as it should and report any maintenance/issues to the Maintenance Department
- Cleaning and maintenance of all heavy equipment and job site equipment.
- Load/unload and transport materials on trucks and trailers.
- Communicate effectively with the site foreman
- Complete all required payperwork daily
- Complete all duties safely and efficiently in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy
- Follow all rules and regulations in accordance with the CVOR
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks such as digging coupling/daylighting pits
- Ability to work in confined areas
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and in a team environment as a team member
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in a fast paced environment around excavators and other heavy equipment.
- Willingness to learn
- Posses a Valid Ontario Class G License(Restricted A license preferred)
- Good time management skills with ability to prioritize work tasks in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience operating heavy or agricultural equipment is an asset
- Ability to follow instruction in both oral and written form from Management and complete requested tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write reports and perform other administrative tasks such as filing paperwork or correspondence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
