**KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A DISTRIBUTION LEAD**

KWE is currently looking for a Distribution Lead who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued customers. **REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Dangerous Goods, Forklift, Health & Safety Training and/or Certification, ISO Training, WHIMIS, First Aid.
- Basic personal computer skills.

**DETAILS OF THE JOB**
- Participate, advise and make recommendations to the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Provide flexible full support to warehouse supervisor on select accounts. Coordinate and ensure accurate processing of shipping/receiving and liaison with the appropriate client reps for the same.
- Trouble shoot shipping/receiving issues; inform Supervisor/Manager and suggest/initiate resolutions.
- Assist the warehouse supervisor in ad hoc assignments and inventory counts.
- Strive to reduce employee errors by working with the Supervisor to ensure employees understand job function and how the operation works. Report deficiencies.
- Advise employees on health and safety issues.
- Perform daily/weekly/ monthly inspections of equipment/supplies/employees to ensure all is operational clean and safe.
- Inform the supervisor if deficiencies are discovered.
- Provide back up support for employees during buys times, vacation and unexplained absences, including after hours and on weekends.
- Participate and provide leadership in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Participate in bi-weekly meetings with staff, provide leadership through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
- Assist the division/department manager in the effective maintenance of the companies ISO policies.
- Participate in meetings and overall objectives for the terminal.
