**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Manage filing systems, records, and documentation (digital and physical).
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars.
- Ensure the office is tidy, organized, and operates efficiently on a daily basis.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

**Basic Bookkeeping Duties**:

- Record accounts receivable (money in) and accounts payable (money out).
- Issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with data entry into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks.).
- Support the preparation of financial reports or documentation for the accountant.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in an office administrative role.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Familiarity with accounting software is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, administration, or accounting is an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
