**Job Type**: Part-Time / Full-Time / Contract
**Location**:755 Lake Bonavista Dr SE, Calgary, AB** (In-person required; online opportunities may be available)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **structured literacy instruction** to students with reading and writing difficulties.
- Work **in-person** with students at **755 Lake Bonavista Dr SE**, with possible **online** sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Foster a **positive and encouraging** learning environment.
- Track student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
- There may be **opportunities to support students with math tutoring** as well.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Experience working with children** in an educational or tutoring setting.
- Passion for helping students with literacy challenges.
- Strong command of **English (native or bilingual speakers only)** due to the structured literacy approach used.
- **Must have a current police check with the vulnerable sector** or be willing to obtain one.
- **Must have a reliable laptop** that functions well for both in-person and online sessions.
- Willingness to undergo **training** in our specific structured literacy approach.
- Reliable, punctual, and strong communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Background in **education, special education, tutoring, or related fields**.
- Experience working with students with learning differences (**e.g., dyslexia, ADHD**).
