Aviva has an excellent opportunity in our Small, Medium and Enterprise (SME) commercial insurance business unit. Our Ottawa Branch have an opportunity for a Commercial Auto Underwriter we are looking to hire Jr to Senior.

What You’ll Do:
- Assess and evaluate the risk for new and existing business (Fleet, Garage)- Analyze reports to resolve adequate exposure and loss ratings.- Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing levels and policy form amendments.- Manage and negotiate renewal terms for the retention of business.-
- Respond to inquiries from brokers regarding modification to policy files in a timely and efficient manner.- Work with brokers to develop new businesses.- Build and maintain excellent broker relationships and management of assigned broker portfolios.- Provide excellent customer service.

What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of commercial Auto underwriting (Fleet, Garage) experience.- CIP is an asset- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal and administration skills.- Highly motivated and hard-working.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.- Good digital literacy.- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.- Knowledge of the RTM system is an asset.
