**Position Summary**:
With the support and direction of the Early Years Planning Network Investing in Quality (IIQ) Working Group and the Five Counties Program Manager - SNR and Regional Programs will deliver supports, services, and resources to early learning and care professionals that:

- Support professional learning that influences best practic
- Enhance professional learning through coaching and mentorship
- Support meaningful measurement for quality improvement
- Engage community and provincial representatives to cultivate and enhance promising practices and evidence-based research

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and assess evaluation frameworks, tools and Quality Enhancement Plan templates to promote and support quality early learning in our community
- Design, implement and deliver individualized mentorship / resources to early learning professionals and the community that is grounded in reflective strength based practice
- Develop and implement an annual work plan that embeds IIQ strategic priorities, community-based data and reports, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Analyze and forecast future work by assessing work plan design, implementation, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Deliver an annual summary report for the early learning community, assisting outside agencies, and stakeholders that focuses on measurable outcomes of the past year in promoting and supporting quality assurance in our community
- Support professional learning and the mobilization of evidence based research that aligns with the Ministry of Education directives supporting and enhancing quality based practice in the early years
- Provide regular updates to the community, assisting agencies and stakeholders regarding the progress of early learning quality improvements, initiatives, practices and measurable outcomes
- Provide support to the Early Years Planning Network-IIQ Working Group by providing information to enhance committee members’ knowledge and understanding
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with Five Counties colleagues, IIQ Working Group members, and community stakeholders to promote and achieve community-based goals, objectives, and priorities further supporting quality and improvements in early learning
- Work collaboratively with Resource Inclusion Coaches to offer professional learning to programs which are specific to a child care and follow the universal design model
- Offer conferences and appreciation events to early childhood educators
- Actively ensure all information regarding children and families served by Five Counties and/or community partners is held in professional confidence at all times
- Demonstrates professional conduct which embodies the mission and values of Five Counties and The Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators including the RECE Code of Ethics
- Assume other duties and/or responsibilities as required that may be assigned by either the Five Counties Program Manager or the IIQ Working Group
- Assume other non-management duties or responsibilities that may be assigned in accordance with ECE training and experience
- Participate on Centre committees
- Represent the Centre on appropriate community committees
- Comply with relevant Centre administrative reporting requirements in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate records as per program policies
- Keep an up-to date file of professional advancement
- Comply with Centre’s policies and procedures as amended from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- ECE Diploma or Recognized Equivalent; Valid registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Minimum of five years mentorship experience in an early learning setting
- Experience with group facilitation, strength based coaching and mentorship
- Strategic planning and implementation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strength based leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ongoing commitment to quality early childhood learning and care
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with our early learning community, assisting agencies and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Strong organizational, report writing, presentation and research skills
- Ability to speak confidently in public as a facilitator and mentor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), in social media platforms and in website management
- Clear vulnerable sector check, dated within 12 month period prior to start date
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle available for working hours
- Valid First Aid/CPR training certification is a job requirement
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is a job requirement
- Occasional evening work is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $57,662.00-$65,134.00 per year
