Electro-mechanical Assembly and Test Technician

We are looking to hire an **Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Test Technician**
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination/manual dexterity
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management and documentation skills
- Experience in mechanical and electronics assembly
- Ability to perform high quality soldering
- Ability to use multimeter, oscilloscope, and other test equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls
- Experience in building cables and harness assemblies as well as wiring up electrical panels
- Knowledge in Ethernet networking
- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
- Assist in packing and shipping customer orders
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
**Additional Strengths and Experience consider beneficial**:
- Experience working with optics and lasers
- Experience with analog and digital camera systems
- Familiarity with Python scripts and C programming
- Experience working with legacy RS-232 and RS-485 systems
- Experience using an MRP system
**Experience**: 2 - 5 years in a Technical related field
**Education**: 2 year Technician or 3 year Technologist Diploma desirable
**Work authorization**: Documented eligibility to work in Canada
