**Prime Boiler Services (PBS) is seeking a Project Manager for their growing Project Management Office (PMO).**

**This position is office-based (not hybrid) in Red Deer, AB.**

Reporting to the PMO Manager, PBS Project Managers are the primary point-people, responsible for planning, executing, controlling and monitoring, and closing the assigned projects to deliver on time and within budget. To succeed in this role, a proactive approach is a must, combined with getting work done in complete, accurate detail and in accordance with company standards and policies. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty to deliver and execute complex projects that meet expectations. The ability to train, teach and motivate others are strong aspects of this position. Effective quality control, clear communication of expectations, and upward reporting to management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project’s lifecycle.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Completed or In-Progress Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or certification
- Strong understanding and practice of formal project management methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in project management.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
