Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented System Administrator with intermediate-level experience to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in system administration and is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s servers, systems, and IT infrastructure, while also contributing to projects that improve our technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, both physical and virtual (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patching, monitoring, backups, and updates.
- Provide Level 2 support for system-related incidents and service requests.
- Assist with user account management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, and print services.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to improve system security, performance, and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, asset inventory, and change logs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and IT best practices. This position will be working out of a client site
- Required Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of experience in system administration or IT support role.
- Proficiency with Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell or Bash) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Assets/Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and endpoint management.
