Order Management Associate

The Order Management Associate (12-14 month Mat Leave position) is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of project proposals, order processing and document control, providing the best order fulfillment experience possible. With a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, the Order Management Associate will ensure that customer orders are managed with a combination of speed, quality, and accuracy. Working with the sales team and other functional areas to help problem solve and proactively mitigate potential issues in support of JCMI customers worldwide.
**Essential Duties**:
- Prepare project proposals in coordination with sales teams and customers
- Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects to customers
- Order entry into Infor Cloud Suite ERP system
- Keep customers proactively informed about the status of their orders
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and completeness on Order Due Dates, ensuring current information is maintained in the ERP system
- Assist with maintenance of item pricing
- Document control
- Work with freight forwarders in obtaining freight rates for project proposals
- Provide ongoing sales support based on various needs, history, lead times, etc.
- Initiate and conduct order review and internal meetings
- Provide coverage and support to other Order Management Team members
- Other duties as assigned
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Self-starter requiring mínimal supervision to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ability to multitask and reset priorities as demands change.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with Sales Representatives and other functional areas to provide the most complete and comprehensive support possible.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective Time Management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products; Word/Excel/PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills.
- Spanish language written and verbal an asset.
- ERP experience in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
