Role: Material Planner
- Location: Saskatoon

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or Monday - Thursday, 7.00 am - 5.30 pm.

We are seeking a detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual to add to our team. If you are an experienced Purchaser who is motivated, detail oriented, and ready to contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences this role is for you

Working closely with Supply Chain Management you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate material planning and support functions to achieve on-time delivery of materials. Collaborating with various departments, you will maintain up-to-date information, identify potential disruptions, and proactively handle them. Your expertise in Change Management will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless supply chain and exceptional customer experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**As the Material Planner you will***:

- Plan materials effectively by evaluating and maintain stock levels, including safety stock and minimum/maximum levels.
- Optimize inventory by updating Kanban inventory items and managing slow movers to maximize warehouse space and turnover.
- Support the planning team by maintaining the master schedule and managing internal production orders.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure timely part delivery and enhance overall efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

**As the Material Planner, you will bring**:

- University/College Degree in Business or Science, or related diploma is an asset.
- 3-4 years of experience in Material Planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Proficient in the use of ERP Systems (SAP B1 is an asset)
- 3-4 Years Experience in Purchasing is an asset
