**Job Title**: Child and Youth Worker

**Job Type**: Casual Position

Agile Healthcare Solutions, a leading staffing agency in the healthcare industry, is currently seeking a Child and Youth Worker to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario. The Child and Youth Worker will work with children and youth in a variety of settings to provide support and assistance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with children and youth to develop and implement individual care plans based on their needs and goals
- Provide support and assistance to children and youth in areas such as emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving
- Foster positive relationships with children and youth and their families, as well as with other members of the care team
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
- Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and other related activities as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting
- Valid CPR certification
- Medical with 6 months validity
- UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behavior) current certified
- Immunization record
- Vulnerable Sector Check Valid
- 3 References from Direct Supervisor

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (required)
- UMAB Certification (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
