Millar Brooke Farm is looking to add a propoperty maintenance worker to join our team. Millar Brooke Farm is located just outside the picturesque town of Perth, Ontario and is the home base of 10x Olympian Ian Millar and his family.

The property boasts three barns, a covered six-horse walker and treadmill, as well as an outdoor sand track, dozens of large grass and sand paddocks, and several kilometers of manicured trails. The crown jewel of the property is undoubtedly the stunning six-acre Grand Prix field. The farm also lays claim to a newly refinished 300’ x 110’ outdoor sand ring and a massive 260’ x 60’ heated indoor arena with private viewing gallery.

The PROPERTY MAINTENANCE WORKER will exercise judgment and independence in the performance of general maintenance activities around the property. The principal responsibilities include: lawn care and landscaping; performing preventative maintenance and inspections; operating farm machinery; general repairs around the facility; tidying; and performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must possess mechanical aptitude and experience in a similar role
- High school diploma; Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid G driver’s license
- Heavy equipment/lawn equipment experience
- Very good organizational and time management skills
- Very good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Very good verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to produce high-quality work in accordance with Millar Brooke Farm standards

WORKING CONDITIONS Outdoors, varying temperatures
