Volunteer Experience Manager
Association Services - Remington YMCA in Quarry Park

**Salary**: $54,996.00/year - $68,754.00/year
Start Date: Immediately

What qualifications are we looking for?

Qualifications include:

- Proven ability to impact and influence others including senior leaders
- Diploma or degree in volunteer engagement or human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience related to human services and management of volunteers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including intermediate use of technology
- Previous people management experience
- Experience in volunteer management and software usage is preferable
- Three professional references
- Evidence of a clear Police Information Check

What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Be the external face of volunteering within Calgary YMCA;
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget for Volunteer Engagement
- Regularly attend General Manager meetings to support operational excellence
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (non-profits, post-secondary institutions, supports for individuals accessing services etc)
- Develop and maintain relationships with GMs and Experience Managers;
- Working with the YMCA Experiences team, ILTs and Branch General Managers to lead recognition activities for all volunteers on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
- Create and maintain workforce planning processes, align recruitment activities and off-boarding processes for ILTs and Branches to follow;
- Establish and maintain evaluation processes for volunteers;
- Develop and maintain communication plans for volunteers,
- Support maintenance of the volunteer database and LMS
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development Department to ensure adequate training resources for volunteers
- Collaborate with Fund Development Department for mutually beneficial initiatives
- Develop COIs within the volunteer and NFP community;
- Oversee volunteer engagement survey annually;
- Contribute time and access to volunteers for annual giving campaign;
- Ensure volunteer certifications are up to date;
- Work with Community Engagement to develop and maintain a social media presence.
- Participate in external volunteer events such as career fairs, conferences and community outreach
- Support Remington YMCA as a Centre Manager
