**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our collegial healthcare team at Cordova Bay Medical Clinic. Our office is brand new, and across the street from Agate Beach. We are a group of three physicians, and one nurse practitioner, with over 30 years of experience in providing longitudinal family practice care. The office is currently supported by one full time office manager/MOA, who has worked with the group for over 20 years.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk.
- Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing inquiries as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and any follow-up care required.
- Support the medical staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, faxing, and data entry.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable to facilitate communication within the healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Experience as a medical office assistant or in an administrative capacity within healthcare will be considered an asset.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
