Job Summary

**A Brief Overview**
Reporting to the Director of IT, Queen's Health Sciences, the Project Manager, Elentra Cloud Migration will be responsible for all aspects of project management relating to the strategic transition of Elentra from an on-premise software implementation to a Cloud-based solution. The incumbent will be a key project communication pillar for Queen's Health.

This position provides leadership and expertise on strategic initiatives and policies and contributes to their implementation and related communication. This position ensures new initiatives have clear program details, completing feasibility studies, assesses resource requirements and coordinates new initiative reviews and approvals. This position is accountable for overseeing high priority projects, including developing strategies and implementation plans and ensuring deadlines are met.

**Job Description**:

**What you will do**
- Provides leadership and expertise on strategic initiatives and policies.
- Establishes, monitors, and communicates project timelines and milestones, maintains a project budget, and coordinates the work of faculty and staff.
- Supports proposal and Memorandum of Understanding development for new programs and project development, partner stewardship, and stakeholder relations.
- Coordinates, tracks and aggregates comprehensive program progress and impact reports for internal team analysis and high-level reporting to key stakeholders.
- Conducts research and data analysis on the current market, prospective partners, industry trends, student demand and best practice in support of project development.
- Evaluates business needs of various projects to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; collecting and coordinating submissions; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals, and managing deadlines.
- Develops, analyses and reviews information and policy in order to prepare reports and correspondence for distribution.
- Coordinates communication and action plans to facilitate projects and strategic initiatives.
- Performs financial feasibility assessments, including preparing short term budgets and forecasts.
- Provides statistical consultation/advice for faculty and residents. Performs sample size and power calculations. Drafts or reviews analysis sections of funding proposals. Conducts analyses and assists in interpreting data.
- Ensures that quality assurance is conducted on all key project deliverables.
- Conducts post-implementation project reviews to identify key learnings and opportunities for improvement. Creates summary report of findings and recommendations to share with key stakeholders.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

**Required Education**
- Four-Year Bachelor Degree or equivalent. In addition, requires trade certification, qualification, or on-going learning to remain ahead of changes in technology or emerging fields.

**Required Experience**
- More than 5 years of experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Job Knowledge and Requirements**
- Knowledge of concepts and principles in a specialist field that is typically acquired through a combination of advanced professional or academic qualifications and/or significant work experience.
- Provide expert advice, guidance and consultation on highly complex issues and/or where the outcome may be contentious.

- Prioritize and distribute work to deliver objectives on time and to the highest standard.
- Identify in advance when the intended results may not be achieved and develops a plan to address the gaps.
- Lead team and project meetings and develop team/unit and departmental project plans.
- Lead procedural or technological change within a unit or across broader university functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
- Anticipate complex challenges to ensure activities are completed on time.
- Effectively leverage relevant data as input to making decisions.
- Appropriately assess risks before making a decision.
