At Simplii Financial, we provide personalized, simple, yet flexible digital experiences for our clients, and accelerate revenue growth for OUR bank. You will be a part of the Simplii Digital Strategy and Client Experience team. In this role you'll use a variety of user research techniques in collaboration with other members of the Simplii User Research Team to support Product Managers and Product Owners to help improve Simplii’s existing products and client experience. Furthermore, you will be responsible for summarizing research findings and presenting the analysis in compelling formats that are easy to understand and action.

Important information- Work Location: Toronto. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most _optimal_ for you to thrive in your role. _You’ll_ have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where _you’ll_ spend _2_-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._

Your job function will include:
- User Research: You'll assist and perform exploratory, generative and evaluative user research using a variety of methods in collaboration with other user researchers (one-on-one interviews, surveys and multivariate studies to name a few).- Data Analysis, Interpretation and Presentation: You'll help analyze qualitative interview data using coding and quantitative survey results and multivariate projects using statistical methods to surface recommendations. You will help in the planning, execution, analysis and presentation of studies to various stakeholders.- Empathy Building: You'll interpret research findings and explain them in a way that's easy to understand to help build empathy.- Administration and Teamwork: You'll help maintain client community of research participants and a repository of research to help build a body of knowledge to assist in the development of product strategy.
- How you will succeed- Project and Operations Management: You excel at overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each is delivered on time and within budget. You utilize your project management skills to ensure timelines are met, target groups are correctly identified, recruitment populations are statistically significant, and participants are compensated.- Problem Solving: You enjoy being presented with problems or issues and working with a team to find innovative solutions.- User Research Tools: You can demonstrate experience in or knowledge of Excel and surveying methods. Any knowledge of using a UX platforms such as Alida, Maze, Qualtrics or Figma would be considered an asset.- Communication: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve research, interpretation, assessment and workshopping.- Organization: Your time management skills are strong and you can prioritize competing priorities to ensure successful outcomes.- Process Improvement: You enjoy the process of reviewing current processes and identifying improvements that will optimize or improve standards.- Creativity: You are curious and enjoy working in a team to plan and envision a possible new product or service and to assess the product strategy and customer experience merits of that concept.- Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work and you live our values - trust, teamwork and accountability.

Who you are- You have 3-5 years of relevant in either User Research, CX Research, Market Research or Service Design.- You have a degree such as Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology Strategic Foresight or Information.- You have experience with qualitative and qualitative research methods in the areas of survey design, workshopping, user interviews, multivariate testing and customer journey mapping.- You have knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of user research tools such as Figma, FigJam, Maze or Alida, would be considered an asset.- You have attention to detail with an ability to utilize statistics to summarize findings and identify trends.- You have clear communication and interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.- You have strong critical thinking, project management and problem-solving skills.
