**Organizational Announcement about our new Analyst of Sales and Revenue**:
They've finally arrived Our newest analyst (perhaps you) comes with a fresh data-driven perspective to help our Sales and revenue generating teams hit and exceed our growth ambitions. Given previous experiences in analytics, sales or revenue operations, and generally driving revenue insights, they're here to lend critical data and strategic thinking to the conversion of our leads into clients, accounts into upsells, and our value into revenue.
Since our new analyst joined, Bench's sales and revenue leaders have thanked their lucky stars to have someone with deep systematic thinking, exciting data skills, and experience prioritizing insights into high-return-on-time Salesforce functionality and decision. In their last role they launched the most effective sales optimization ever - and here at Bench they've set their sights on doubling our lead-to-client conversion and other revenue sources through systematic performance management support and helping us more clearly market the tremendous value Bench brings to entrepreneurs.
They're playing a role in working with our marketing analysts, service delivery analysts, and all GTM leaders to align our new product launches and events with the next waves of revenue maximizing promotions and conversations.
But what we're most excited to highlight is that while our new analyst is both a strategic thinker and data analyst, they're also a team player and have already started tucking into their experiences and system knowledge, including Salesforce -hooray, to optimize for all revenue and service value-related activities across Bench.
**What you'll get up to**:
- **Be a deeply trusted partner, leader and advisor to teams selling and leading revenue generation at Bench**
- Identifying step-change performance management opportunities backed by tested hypotheses and data insights
- Provide data-driven opinions and recommendations on strategic prioritization
- Creating business cases and roadmaps with stakeholders and project managers for systems investments that improve the state of the go-to-market data ecosystem
- Participate in financial modeling exercises to make recommendations on future staffing, quota & sales compensation, and revenue
- Communicate key findings and presentations to wider senior leadership
- **Create and optimize our revenue analytics assets (datasets, dashboards & reports)**
- Highlight opportunities to improve Go-To-Market insights by deeply understanding revenue volumes, sales rep performance, and other revenue related decision making
- Ensuring that the definitions of metrics related to our lead and client generation are consistent across our current and new reporting
- Guide and support strategies that capture revenue dataSupport in transforming our reporting landscape into a more automated and robust environment
- **Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify, validate, and build systems and tools to support decision making**
- Be an active contributor to the development and improvement of our data infrastructure
- **Analyze and support revenue strategies related to business critical problems, including working with team members on process improvements**
- **Mentor and support emerging analysts with their understanding of the data environment and the analyst tech stack**
**What you'll need**:
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, finance, consulting, strategy, business intelligence or a related quantitative field, education, or training
_Experience leading cross-functional data analysis_
- _More advanced ability to prioritize work for business impact and mentor more junior team members to prioritize effectively_
- Experience translating complex business problems into clear drivers and structured models in a SaaS business
