Mover/Driver/Installer

Receive paid, on-job training, to learn about how we move, build, install, store and repair office furniture. We do some odd-jobs including residential moving and deliveries. The intent of this job posting is to find long term/permanent employees who would like to join our family-like culture. Experience in office furniture or with tools is preferred. Pay is negotiable after a 3 month probationary period and can fluctuate depending on performance, experience, ability to provide your own tools, driving ability, forklift license, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of various different brands of office furniture.
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport furniture and other items to and from designated locations
- Pack and wrap items securely to prevent damage during transportation
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues during the moving process
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and completed tasks
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating company vehicles and handling heavy objects

**Requirements**:

- Fluent English speaking
- Canadian citizenship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions effectively
- Prior experience in moving/installing or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation to be able to commute between job sites
- Ability to be away for overnight trips out of town

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
