**As a Mover at Dekora**, you’re the muscle that brings the magic to life. From carefully loading trucks with luxury sofas and art pieces to ensuring a million-dollar property’s floors remain scratch-free, you’re literally laying the groundwork for jaw-dropping transformations.

When you do your job well, clients walk into a staged home and say, “Wow.” That’s the power you hold.

**What You’ll Do (Day to Day)**

You’ll work on-site at beautiful homes, in bustling warehouses, and on the road with your team.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of your responsibilities per project:

- **Gather and Load Furniture & Décor**: Start your day by picking the perfect pieces for each project, double-checking inventory lists, and making sure everything is securely packed for transport.
- **Pack and Secure Items**: You’ll wrap, cushion, and strap down high-end furnishings like your life depends on it—because it kind of does. No one wants to damage a $5,000 chandelier.
- **Drive or Navigate**: You may be the one behind the wheel of our Dekora trucks, or you might be the trusty co-pilot with a keen sense of direction.
- **Unload and Assemble**: Once on-site, you’ll carefully place each furniture item or accessory, sometimes assembling it. Our staging setups can include everything from delicate vases to large sectional sofas.
- **Assist Lead Stagers**: You’ll be the extra set of hands (and eyes) for our design pros. They’ll rely on you to move pieces into place quickly and safely.
- **Disassemble & Remove Assets**: At the end of a staging contract, you’ll head back to the property, pack everything up, and transport it back to the warehouse.
- **Maintain the Warehouse**: Organize inventory, help keep track of items in and out, and ensure our staging arsenal is always ready for the next big project.

**What We’re Looking For (aka Skills)**
- **Physical Fitness & Strength**: You’ll lift, carry, and assemble heavy objects daily.
- **Valid Driver’s License**: A commercial driver’s license is a bonus.
- **Spatial Awareness**: Efficiently packing a truck (or multiple trucks) takes a puzzle-master’s mind.
- **Safe Handling & Moving Techniques**: We’ll train you, but any prior experience is a big plus.
- **Basic Tool Skills**: Be comfortable with a drill, screwdriver, or wrench.
- **Abstract Reasoning**: Think on your feet and solve problems quickly—like fitting a giant sectional through a narrow doorway.
