- Lead end-to-end management of web and systems projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of virtualization environments such as VMware and ESXi.
- Manage database systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and monitor network configurations involving DNS, VPNs, and computer networking protocols to ensure secure connectivity.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash (Unix Shell), Shell Scripting, Python, JavaScript, and T-SQL to streamline operations.
- Utilize DevOps tools such as Git and Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ensure system security by managing operating systems (Windows/Linux), REST APIs, and related security protocols.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and migrations while maintaining documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and provide technical guidance to team members. Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing IT projects involving cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases.
- Extensive experience with operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS configuration and VPN setup.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Kubernetes orchestration tools, DevOps practices, Git version control system, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash (Unix Shell), Shell Scripting, JavaScript, T-SQL, PL/SQL for automation and development tasks.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
