Opportunity
At AIMCo, our Corporate Communications team plays a critical role in protecting and strengthening our reputation, supporting transparency for clients, and enabling business strategy.
The Student, Strategic Communications, Data & AI will help modernize and enhance how we measure, assess, and optimize communications performance through data analytics and artificial intelligence tools. This role is ideal for a student who combines strong communication instincts with technical fluency in analytics, automation, and emerging AI platforms.
You will help transform communications from intuition-driven to insight-led.
Note: This is a 4-month, full-time term from May 2026 through August 2026.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the development of AI enabled communications dashboards to measure media sentiment, stakeholder engagement, and digital performance
- Use data analytics tools to generate insights from media monitoring, social listening, and internal communications platforms

- Analyze trends across traditional and digital channels to inform communications strategy
- Conduct A/B testing of creative content across digital channels to optimize engagement and performance
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies relevant to corporate communications
- Support issues management and reputation tracking through data-driven analysis
- Collaborate with members across the communications function in internal communications, social media, media relations and crisis management, public affairs, brand, and creative.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Media, or related field
- Experience with python or R programming languages and familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, automation tools) is desirable
- Experience with media monitoring platforms is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into valuable insights
- High attention to detail
