The Job:
The Shuttle Ambassador is an important member of our Guest Services department. They are the first point of contact for all of the tour companies and guests that use our free shuttle service. They are also responsible for the active off site promotion of tourist visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
The Shuttle Ambassador role includes on site management of the shuttle service: guest loading, liaison with the shuttle drivers, our shuttle service provider and operations supervisor on any problems or logístical matters. Our Shuttle Ambassadors are working both at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Downtown Vancouver to ensure seamless and consistent shuttle service.
Qualifications:
- One (1) year of Guest service experience in the tourism industry,
- Work effectively under pressure and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to handle high volumes of vehicle traffic and guest-related interactions with professionalism,
- Must have a passion for guest service, the city and its many sights
- Knowledge of transit routes and the greater Vancouver area is a strong asset,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Second language is an asset. Please Note: Our seasonal event, Canyon Lights, is an evening event; we are looking for team members who can work mainly afternoon and evening shifts approx. until 10pm as the park closes at 9:00pm during Canyon Lights.

- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
- While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Working outdoors in all types of weather
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
