**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TransAlta is hiring Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician or Blade Technician in Quebec No Wind experience or specific trade is required. TransAlta is providing internal technical & safety training.

This position will be located in Le Nordais, Quebec.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

The Technician's role is to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical controllers to operate and maintain wind turbines. There is an opportunity to work on different types of platforms; Siemens, Vestas, GE, Nordex, and NEG Micon.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- No Wind experience or specific trade is required
- Technical and safety training will be provided
- As this is a safety-sensitive position, successful completion of required pre-employment testing is a condition of employment
