At Mad Mexican, we put our essence in our fresh and in-house prepared products that are delivered to over 330 retailers across the GTA and its surrounding areas. In addition, we bring our unique taste and tradition to our restaurant locations.

As a **Food Production Team Lead**, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of Food Manufacturing Good Practices and Food Safety. By upholding these practices, we deliver exceptional products to our valued customers, including stores, supermarkets, farmers markets, and events.
- **What will be your core responsibilities?**_
- Resolving any employee conflicts quickly and efficiently
- Communicate any pertinent information regarding to projects, goals, objectives to team members and to manager
- Maximize productivity by scheduling available staff member to the appropriate shift
- Complete the washing, prepping, mixing, cooking, packing for the Mad Mexican Salsas
- Monitor and follow up with Maintenance department for the proper maintenance and condition of all the machinery
- Monitor and comply with the Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Correctly fill the records generated in the work station
- Support another Leaders/Supervisors as needed
- Identifying any areas of concern that could impact the performance of the team
- Constantly look for ideas to improve processes
- Daily quality check to ensure quality of the product meet the minimum company standards
- Comply with the Food Safety culture within premises, report and trying to resolve Food Safety issues within his/her scope.
- Monitor and comply with the Company Food Safety program.
- Train new staff regarding SOPs and GMPs
- Train new staff regarding health and safety procedures
- Provide hands-on direction for all activities (Lead by example)
- Monitor, control and reduce the waste produced at the station
- **Qualifications and Requirements**_
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- **Schedule**_
- Monday to Friday (5:30 am until close (between 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM based on production)

**Salary**: $43,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
