The purpose of this role is to create a regional customer facing and operational infrastructure for the International Markets Region (a very diverse list of countries: Australia, Asia-Pacific, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Brazil) to enable smooth end-to-end operations and patient support programs for Cell & Gene Commercial & Clinical Trials Therapies. This role has direct impact to patients’ lives and Novartis reputation.
- The IM Region Head of Operations and Patient Services requires a combination of strategic thinking and operational experience to properly structure very different market approaches and solutions with liaising and involving local teams in each distinct country. This role is also responsible to create and lead patient-oriented programs and create a strategy for sites onboarding. Provides leadership and vision to the various markets’ operations and sites onboarding processes.- Drive strategic alignment with appropriate stakeholders including manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, Data Privacy, Marketing, Training, Account Management and sales to design and implement an order management process that helps to provide innovative and supportive Cell & Gene patient access for Novartis.
- Collaborate and align with the Regional Apheresis team to ensure synchronized customer experience
- Builds a strategy for deployment and implementation of resources to build an optimal patient and provider experience for patient support service
- Builds strategy for capacity management for IM, especially in a capacity constraint situation

**Minimum requirements**
- University degree in science and/or degree in Economics or Business
- Fluent in English and functional in French
- Overall 5+ years of experience in Pharma and 3+ years of experience in Cell & Gene therapies is required.
- Superior business acumen and understanding of various healthcare business dynamics
- Strong track record of successful leadership and influence experience and delivery of results.
- Strong communication (oral, written, and presentation), analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff/organization key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.You’ll receive:
