La Fabrique de Bagel is seeking a Full Time/Part Time motivated, energetic and cheerful barista/Counter Clerk.
The individual must be Bilingual and have great customer service skills to work in a friendly fast-paced environment.
We are a Cafe located on Park Avenue - Plateau Mont-Royal. We are well known for our wide selection of flavored cream cheese and specialty sandwiches using our signature bagels.
As a barista/server, you will be taking customers' orders for bagels, coffee in addition to many other grab and go items. Basic cooking skills and food safety knowledge is required and will be covered in training.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support all aspects of food preparation, quality control and food display.
- Take orders and operate cash register.
- Perform opening shift duties, ensuring the front counters are fully stocked and well-presented.
- Perform closing shift duties, cleaning, restocking and general prep for following morning.
- Involves deep cleaning of store.
- Greet customer service.
- Work together as a team.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work mornings.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
