Customer Service Representative/flagger

We are looking to hire Event Flaggers to join our INDIGO team.

As a Flagger you will be responsible to deliver quality customer service, receive payments (if required) and facilitate the flow of traffic through the gates.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Respond to customers questions in a prompt and courteous manner
- Provide Customers with directions and inform them of their parking options and availability
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility or Senior Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills etc. to Facility or Senior Manager.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the lot.
- Collect cash and/or coupons and maintain security of cash
- Make change and issue receipts or tickets to customers for each transaction

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to all temperature conditions
- Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and twisting
- Lifting up to 20lbs may be required

**Required Qualifications**:

- Excellent Customer Service skills
- English Language Skills: Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Evenings
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
