Financial Controller

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Lead the finance team in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and financial risks, and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure business performance.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management on business decisions and initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.
- Manage financial processes across multiple companies within the DNM umbrella.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in the construction industry or related field is an asset.
