Foodee’s Mission is to strengthen local restaurants by building a managed platform for businesses to order food. To that end, it is critical that we support local communities through our sustainability efforts so that these communities can continue to thrive and so that we can more effectively live our value of Love Food, Not Food Waste.

We are seeking a **SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR, **whose role will be to manage the programs that develop, coordinate and promote effective sustainability initiatives to reduce Foodee’s impact on the environment, through both our operating mechanisms (internal) and our partnerships (external).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Build relationships across different business functions to drive sustainability initiatives within Foodee
- Educate our external and internal stakeholders on food waste reduction, sustainability and carbon footprint management
- Build (or iterate on) data frameworks for ongoing measurement of our environmental impact as a business
- Assist in defining sustainability goals and performance metrics to assess program efficacy
- Leverage Foodee’s partnership with Sodexo to access more sustainable packaging options for our restaurant partners
- Partner with Digital Marketing to create assets and deploy content that highlight our sustainability initiatives
- Find opportunities (strategic partnerships, PR, speaking, other) for Foodee to share our story and leadership regarding the sustainable approach of our partner community
- Support the Client Sales and Success teams with assets and data they require to close and support clients with a CSR focus
- Collaborate with Director of People Operations on community-engagement initiatives for the Foodee team, engaging restaurant & community partners on roundtables & other internal dialogue
- Collaborate with and receive inputs from the CSR community within Sodexo
- Identify and advocate for the resources required to implement your programs (investment, product enhancements, etc.).

**SKILL SET/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 2-3 Years of experience in developing, maintaining and/or managing sustainability-based initiatives in small to medium-sized businesses
- Self-starter who can tackle projects with a high degree of ownership, organization and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who can effectively distill complex concepts into digestible information
- Experience with content creation, copywriting (in a corporate environment is an advantage)
- Experience in data analytics and utilizing quantitative information to drive decisions
- A fail fast and learn faster mentality, embracing and seeking feedback from colleagues and mentors
