**Responsibilities & Expectations**:

- The Laborer performs various shop duties as directed by the Shop Supervisor.
- Steam clean and/or sandblast various electrical apparatus assemblies.
- Prepare and paint motor parts.
- Assist in the mechanical, rewind and machine shop as directed by the Shop Supervisor
- Scrap electrical apparatus.
- Operate machinery as designated by the Shop Supervisor.
- Keep the shop clean at all times.
- Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Ensure company safety policies and OH&S regulations are followed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- High School Diploma.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills both oral and written in the English language.
