**Tasks and results for this position include**:
- Develop and execute the Alberta sales strategy in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the province and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, account managers, and support staff across the province.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement professional development plans.
- Ensure a high-performance culture by fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Negotiate and close major contracts with key clients, contractors, and distributors.
- Monitor sales pipelines and forecasts to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including contractors, architects, developers, and distributors.
- Act as the face of the company for high-profile clients and industry events.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Represent the company in alignment with its values and commitment to ethical practices.
**Preferred Skills and Work Experience**:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Alberta market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Alberta as required
- Knowledge of provincial building code is an asset.
- Demonstrated success in sales in areas within a fast-paced, and competitive market.
- Must be hands-on and a team player.
- Excellent leadership skills including superb communication and delivery of results.

Pay: $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
