We are currently looking to hire a qualified **JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT **for our team at Summit Fleet.

The Junior Accountant will report to the Accounting Supervisor to ensure data entry and reporting are completed with accuracy and in a timely manner. This individual will build a rapport with the management team to ensure understanding of documentation and provide insight on areas of opportunity. This individual will need to have clear verbal and written communication, impeccable organization, and prioritization abilities.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Deal postings and terminations
- Account reconciliations
- Lien payouts
- Month end reports
- Remit sales tax
- Post fuel receipts
- Post journal entries
- Assist with any audits as required
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous accounting experience required
- Post-Secondary Education in accounting an asset
- ADP/CDK/Certinia/Salesforce experience an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
