Are you a **ticketed Journeyperson Structural Steel Plate Fitter** looking to join a strong, stable team that values work-life balance? We are currently hiring **experienced Structural Steel Plate Fitters** for both day and night shifts.

Join a team where **every weekend is a long weekend**, with **4 x 11-hour shifts** and opportunities for overtime during the week.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fit and layout **structural steel and plate components** to precise specifications.
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Ensure proper fit-up for welding.
- Follow all safety protocols and promote safe work practices.
- Safely move and handle steel materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Maintain and organize shop tools and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and free from hazards.
- Receive and follow direction from the Foreman.
- Communicate any safety concerns or training needs to Supervisors.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Journeyperson Structural Steel Plate Fitter is required.**
- Strong blueprint reading, layout, and fit-up skills.
- Experience fitting complex structural steel assemblies is a major asset.
- Ability to work independently and lead by example.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to receive and follow instructions.

**What we offer**:
**4-Day Workweek Rotation**:

- **Shift A**: Monday-Thursday
- **Shift B**: Tuesday-Friday
- Shifts alternate monthly, giving employees a **built-in long weekend every week**

**Day Shift**: 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM (11 hours/day)

**Night Shift**: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 4:30 AM

**$2.50/hour night shift premium**

**Overtime opportunities** available during the week occasionally

**Comprehensive benefits package** after probation period

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$39.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nisku, AB T9E 7X5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Structural Steel Plate Fitter: 5 years (required)
