Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Business Partner is recognized as a senior level HR expert, providing business leadership/guidance to ensure organizational priorities/goals are successfully achieved. The HRBP will develop and implement effective programs, solutions and initiatives and participate in the development of strategies that are aligned to business plans. The HRBP will also promote a culture of safety, strong performance, accountability, employee loyalty/engagement, and customer service /experience excellence.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Responsible for supporting managers of a division or business unit (designated customer groups)
- Establishes and fosters continued strategic relationships, and collaborates with business partners and key stakeholders (including committees) in order to provide them with guidance and influence the company’s decisions
- Participates as an integral member of the management team of each customer group, gives them advice, guidance and leadership for any issue impacting human capital
- Anticipates problems impacting Personnel stemming from long term business strategies, and collaborates with upper management in creating proactive solutions in response to continuous changes
- Provides leadership and support to all sectors of business units impacted by significant organizational or business changes, by leading the planning, development and implementation of very effective change management programs
- Undertakes and manages the continuous implementation of various global initiatives in support of the People & Organization strategic plan, including employee commitment, recruitment and staffing, benefits while fostering the management of individual and team management, organizational design, relations with employees and work relations, leadership development, and corporate responsibility (organizational values, relations par excellence, labor laws)
- Stimulates individual and organizational effectiveness through an excellent execution of People & Organization programs and main deliverables stemming from the company’s strategy

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma, with a concentration in Human Resources Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ Human Resources experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of all HR functions including, but not limited to, employee / labour relations, recruitment, health and safety, disability management, compensation, benefits, and training.
- CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
