**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Curate and maintain an extensive wine list that complements the restaurant's menu.
- Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and meal choices.
- Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for staff to enhance their knowledge of wines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all wines to maintain quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create harmonious food and wine pairings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns regarding wine selections.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling as necessary during busy service periods.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and tasting notes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Experience in food handling and meal preparation within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering processes for seamless transactions.
- Bartending experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to serve beverages alongside wine selections.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey wine knowledge to both staff and guests.

Pay: $17.40 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
