Audio Visual Technician

**Responsibilities**:
- Pack, Load, Deliver, set up and install audio visual equipment for Conferences and Events.
- Setup, test and configure equipment prior to events.
- Operate AV equipment and provide technical support and assistance during events
- Collaborate with event planners to fulfill their audio visual needs and specifications.
- Executes management tasks before, during, or after an event
- Ability to direct on site crews for setup, operation, and dismantling
- Organize warehouse and maintain inventory of audio visual equipment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest audio visual technology trends and advancements
- Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- 3 years of experience in the audio visual industry
- Previous Employment working as an Audio-Visual Technician
- Experience with the set up and operation of AV gear, such as cameras, projectors, microphones, mixers, and speakers
- Knowledge of software and networking for audio visual systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must possess the ability to learn and thoroughly understand current and new technical systems
- Reliable transportation, with a valid driver's Class 5 BC license and a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 Lbs.

**Qualifications**
- Customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
- Proficiency in utilizing video conferencing platforms like Zoom Webinar and Zoom Meetings etc.

**Work Location**:
Tri-Cities (British Columbia)
Pay: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
