We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for **“Tablet Coating Technician”** with the following job description and requirements:
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the set-up and operation of various Coating ovens on an as-needed basis. Require knowledge of applicable hazardous materials including safe handling and disposal.
- Troubleshoot and communicate abnormal conditions to Lead Coater and/or Supervisor. Observes machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Determines coating material quality by performing visual inspections. Weighs or measures coatings materials before preparing coating solution.
- Prepares coating solution by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated mixing equipment. Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.
- Regulate pan speeds, machine temperature, air pressure and circulation, and the flow or spray of coatings liquids and performs visual inspection for uniformity of coat.
- Responsible for inspection of finished materials. In addition, interacts with QA to provide samples at end of operation according to Coating SOP.
- Records operational data on specified time in the forms provided in the work order. Needs knowledge of raw materials, production processes, material costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products.

**Minimum Requirements**
- At least Grade 12 degree or diploma required with basic math skills.
- Minimum 1 year of tablet coating experience in a pharmaceuticals or nutraceutical industry an asset.
- Mechanically inclined for troubleshooting and coating machine maintenance.
- Attention to details and accuracy with numbers
- Positive attitudes. Team player
- Safety conscious
- Strong knowledge of GMP as an asset
