**We are looking to fill positions for a Bartender with Serving experience within the Front of House (FOH). For bar, opening shifts start at 10:45am, closing bartender starting between 4:30-5pm. We are closed on Sundays and Stat Holidays. Priority interest to those with previous bartending experience at a bar/pub. As well those who have open availability**.

We are looking for positive, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our fun work environment & family. We are a local and family owned establishment, with no chain association.

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:
**Bartender**
- Preparing and making beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
- Preparing and stocking beverage garnishes (cutting fruit)
- Stocking bottled beers and ciders, can beverages, bottled wines, straws, and other bar essentials
- Changing beer kegs and pop syrups when they are out
- Interacting and serving guests who sit at the bar-top
- Inputting orders into the POS - Profitek
- Clearing glassware and dishes from the bar top, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the bar top and bar area
- Weekly emptying of bottle recycling bin to liquor store
- Loading and emptying the glass-washer, putting away and organizing glassware, and maintaining a clean & organized bar
- Opening/Closing duties

**Server**
- Greeting & seating guests
- Taking & delivering guest's food and beverage orders
- Inputting orders into the POS - Profitek
- Clearing dirty dishes & glassware from tables when guests are done
- Putting dirty glasses into the glass-washer & dirty dishes into the dishpit
- Bathroom checks (shared responsibility)
- Shared side duties (ie., cleaning coffee station, garbages, cleaning pass thru...)
- Opening/Closing duties

Within the FOH we offer causal or part-time positions ranging from 8hrs to 38hrs per week, with the average shift being 6-7 hours - though flexibility and adjustments are available based on personal schedules.

Discounts on food provided when on and off shift, as well there is on-site parking (reliable transportation is an asset). Bartenders/Servers receive weekly tip outs (tips are not pooled - though there are tip outs to kitchen staff, food runner(s)/busser(s), and bartender(s).

**Serving it Right/Responsible Service is required for any serving position - please ensure you have a valid BC certificate.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
