**Your Responsibilities**: As a co-op student at Millards, you will:

- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
- Handle client bookkeeping and generate compliance-related financial reports.
- Prepare working papers for review and compilation engagement files.
- Build proficiency with accounting and bookkeeping software.
- Learn to identify when and how to seek guidance from senior team members.
- Work directly with co-op students, senior accountants, managers, and partners.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in an **Accounting or related program**, with a plan to pursue a **CPA designation**.
- Previous experience in an accounting firm is an asset.
- Strong **academic performance** in accounting courses.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** (Excel and Word).
- Aptitude for learning new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
