**Job** Summary**:
**Specific responsibilities**:

- Anticipate industry trends and business opportunities by conducting financial analysis and analyzing various data
- Evaluate our business lines, profitability, rates, retention and market conditions for all of Canada;
- Is responsible for results in terms of loss rate, growth and underwriting profits;
- proactively manages and monitors results and key performance indicators of assigned underwriting teams to achieve desired results.
- Develop and implement action plans to maximize our operational efficiency, growth and profit;
- Work closely with the Actuarial Department on rate reviews to ensure profitable growth;
- Any other duties and responsibilities for which the incumbent's expertise is required.

**Experience/training**:

- Bachelor degree;
- 10 to 15 years of Underwriting experience;
- Five years leading a team;
- Professional Designation in actuarial field : FCAS; FCIA
