**Role**:
This is a novice level position in the Mechanical Production group. The Methods Agent will assist higher-level technologists during the various production follow-up tasks. This position requires substantial supervision from superior level positions.
**Tasks**:
- Propose assembly methods for simple mechanical components.
- Assist higher level technologists during the preparation of routing slips for parts for which he is accountable.
- Assist higher level technologists during design and follow-up of production templates associated with routing slips
- Assist higher-level technologists by following rework procedures when an item does not meet required standards.
- Help assembly operators by performing detailed review during production.
- Make recommendations in order to improve the efficiency of the production workshop.
- Perform other discipline related duties, as required.
**Minimum Required Qualifications**:
- DEC in Mechanical Technology or the equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of production techniques and mechanical assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly tools, manufacturing processes and machining tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft software and one ERP database
- Fluent in both French and English.
