**Job Description**:
What you'll be doing

As a member of CIBC’s team, the Specialist is responsible for the production and delivery of mutual fund/ETF regulatory deliverables, which may include prospectuses, fund facts, ETF facts, financial statements, management reports of fund performance, quarterly portfolio disclosure, and annual reminders. The Specialist proactively analyzes and recommends enhancements to existing business processes. The role applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to lead and support regulatory reporting projects based on documented procedures and guidance from management. The specialist exercises independent judgement within defined procedures, making decisions based on standardized guidelines outlined in procedures. The role provides recommendations for best practices through experiences and observation, for use by other team members as part of knowledge sharing and to ensure consistency in approach. The role solves business, operational, and technical problems within the scope of their job, escalating unusual cases outside of documented procedures to management.

How you'll succeed- Project Management - Responsible for the development, production, and delivery of Regulatory projects. Adhere to project timelines, legal and regulatory requirements to manage risk, while maintaining a focus on the client experience.- Relationship Management - Manage partner relationships that are key to the success of the team. Collaborate with Product, Legal, Fund Valuations, Compliance, Investment Management Research, Taxation, Client Services to promote engagement in the review and approval of regulatory materials.- Operational Efficiency - focus on the operational efficiency of the team’s and vendor’s processes, including procedural improvements, and leveraging automation and digital opportunities.

Who you are- You can demonstrate experience in regulatory requirements pertaining to NI 81-101, NI 81-106 and NI 41-101.- You’re comfortable working with deadline pressures and can be flexible in achieving those deadlines.- You're passionate about people. Strong knowledge of investment and mutual fund products, as well as the regulatory environment; IFIC, CSC, or related designation is an asset. A minimum of 2 years' experience within the Fund Valuations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, or Product Management department of a financial services provider.- You're passionate about people. You connect with others through respect and authenticity.- You can demonstrate experience in MS-Office tools essential, especially strong knowledge of Excel.- You are a caring and accountable leader.
