Maintenance Parts Planner Lead

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in managing and organizing the materials, equipment and parts needed to support the company's maintenance operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely availability of resources necessary for the department to carry out repairs, maintenance and projects in an efficient manner.

Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Receiving and storing materials:

- Receive deliveries of materials, equipment and parts.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders.
- Organize storage of materials in an efficient and logical manner to facilitate future access.
- Maintain an accurate inventory by systematically recording incoming and outgoing materials.

2. Preparation of orders:

- Establish and produce planned maintenance order schedules for work in progress and planned shutdowns.
- Facilitate meetings to discuss priorities and upcoming projects;
- Schedule work orders by evaluating, planning and optimizing resources (equipment and labor).

3. Distribution and monitoring:

- Work in conjunction with production and maintenance supervisors to maintain and improve the reliability system;
- Keep maintenance management system up to date;
- Attend scheduled shutdowns;
- Write and assign work orders;
- Prepare maintenance kits.

4. Inventory management:

- Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to place replenishment orders.
- Ensure that the storage area is clean, well organized and well stocked.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role;
- Exemplary rigor in handling your responsibilities;
- The ability to deal with issues and problems proactively by putting forward solutions;
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and departments;
- The ability to handle several projects at once, while respecting deadlines and priorities;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Knowledge of Interal and Excel software (an asset).
