**Summary**

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team at Kionas Construction Inc. in Ottawa. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at our construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform cleaning duties at construction sites, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and organized to promote safety
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies
- Preparing and cleaning the area for the window, door and balcony installations
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies, tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Adhere to all safety procedures set by the construction management superintendent on site and Kionas management team

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is required
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
