Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Caterer to join our team. The Caterer will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing catering events, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

We are a from scratch kitchen located on Victoria Street in Kitchener Using local and seasonal ingredients we like to create fun, flavourful and leading edge food

- Passion for food (I know cliché, but it’s important)
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Open and consistent communication skills
- Strong line skills, butchery and cooking techniques
- Time management and delegation

**Duties**:

- Plan and execute catering events from start to finish
- Prepare and present a variety of food items in an appealing manner
- Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and service
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in catering, food preparation, and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in restaurant management is a plus
- Team management experience is preferred
- 3-5 years experience preferred
- Valid Ontario Drivers Licence is required

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 55 per week

- Cooking: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Drivers License (required)
- Food Handler Certification (required)
