WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Days, Occasional overtime and weekends

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Loader is responsible for ensuring ALLSEATING product is loaded accurately and in good condition according to the pre-determined shipping schedule.

**POSITION OBJECTIVES**: The objectives of the Loader are as follows:

- Following work instructions;
- Entering order information into computer system and establishing new loads;
- Scanning all product with RF scanner;
- Assisting in the movement of product from the end of the Packaging Line to the Shipping Dock;
- Grouping and organizing product according to destination and truck dock;
- Loading the truck and ensuring product is secure to prevent freight damage;
- Supporting external (truck drivers) and internal (shipping department) customers;
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Adhering to all company and government legislated policies and procedures; and
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous loading experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak); and
- High School Diploma.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
- Must be able to stand for extended periods;
- **Must be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, move and stack 50lb boxes;**:

- Must be able to work with others;
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in an organized manner;
- Must be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills; and
- Must possess a strong attention to detail.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Manufacturing setting

**NOTE: this is not a forklift position. The successful applicant will be loading trucks using a hand dolly.**

Hourly rate + benefits
