We are looking for an experienced and motivated Website Manager to join our team.
The Website Manager will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and administration of the company’s website. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of a website; age gating, images, videos, webpages, domain access etc. They will work alongside IT and Marketing to optimize the websites functions to ensure it is the best representation of the company and is user friendly. We will rely on the Website Manager to respond to security issues and troubleshoot and resolve a variety of website performance issues.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with management of the website’s contents; including writing new content, editing existing content, and removing outdated content/identify areas of improvement.
- Lead search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to promote the website, increase traffic and improve website rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs)
- Working closely with marketing, IT and other departments as needed to ensure the website meets the needs of the company.
- Reviewing reports from web analytics software that track traffic, providing insight into variances and recommendations on how to improve.
- Creating and managing the website’s budget to ensure it meets goals while staying within a set limit
- Make recommendations for the website based on user feedback and performance metrics
- Responding to and troubleshooting website issues including website security breaches.
- Improving the user experience of the website by ensuring website quality and efficiency, conducting regular test plans.
- Planning and implementing changes to ensure compliance applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ year experience overseeing website maintenance and administration
- Bachelor's degree in a field like computer science, IT, systems engineering, web development or a similar field
- Experience with Content management systems (CMS), Copyright regulations, CSS, Firewalls, HTML, Intrusion detection systems (IDS), Intrusion prevention systems (IPS), JavaScript, PPC campaigns, SEO, Security audits, User experience (UX), Web-based proxy, Website accessibility standards
- Ecommerce expertise and the ability to evaluate and optimize digital shopper journeys and path to purchase
- Experience troubleshooting and managing website security
- Attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills are required
- Being able to work cross functionally in a fast paced, high demand work environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
