**Role Overview**

**Position**: Freelance Tour Guide
**Location**: Ottawa
**Contract Type**: Freelance
**Payment**: 200 CAD/day (fixed) + performance-based bonuses
**Schedule**: Flexible — choose the days and hours that work for you

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead private walking tours tailored to guest interests
- Share engaging insights about **Ottawa’s heritage, landmarks, and neighborhoods**:

- Customize each experience based on guest preferences
- Ensure every tour is welcoming, safe, and memorable

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of **Ottawa’s culture, history, and key attractions**:

- Fluency in at least one language: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, or Portuguese
- Comfortable leading tours lasting **3-8 hours**:

- Friendly, engaging, and guest-focused personality
- Bonus: Passion for **gastronomy and food culture**:

- Prior experience in guiding or hospitality is a plus
